Tonight is a baked potato with butter, cheddar cheese, onions, and bacon.

Lasagna for my dinner tonight.

Italian pasta salad with Bratwurst and Mild Italian sausage roasted in oven.
Served with soft good buns & dijon mustard.

Perfect for a fall meal.

I had two bowls of stew . a side of fermented asparagus and a glass of cool water .
Now I'm snacking on sweet potato chips .

Yet to be decided who is going to be eating all the crow in the simmering caldron.

Chinese take-out from the place around the corner:
sesame chicken with steamed rice and an eggroll.

Crock pot beef stew with potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, mushrooms, bacon and a packet of Lipton's Onion Soup mix and a large jar of beef gravy.... Dang it is delicious and made the house smell heavenly all day. The beef was so very tender. A side was buttered fresh spinach.

Dessert was Tiramisu.

two bone-in chicken breasts fresh from the market, fried in oil to golden brown, laid on top of layers of onion, garlic, potatoes, green beans, topped with a can of Amy's mushroom soup, baked in a Le Creuset braisser at 325 F. for 40 minutes. DELISH!~

Cheesy potatoes (peeled, sliced very thin with very thin onion sliced, butter, cream and cheese then baked till brown and crispy around the edges), Green beans (the last fresh from the garden sautéed in a little olive oil with caramelized onions and fresh rosemary) and pork chops with Bicentennial rub.

I'll probably make a caprese salad too as we have a lot of tomatoes and basil and it's likely to freeze tonight or tomorrow night.

Will have to try this, sounds lovely!
