Last night my parents and I had our fairly expensive dinner at the Grand Cafe at Choctaw - Durant comped. Even the manager of that restaurant did not know what the heck happened for us to wind up completely forgotten about for roughly a half hour. What is really hilarious is my mother and I were talking about Lucifer somewhat loudly for a few minutes before the manager came over and let us know our dinner was being comped. This also included The Grand Bakery too. So my mother wound up getting three desserts in a To-Go bag after dinner. I figure most likely the grand total was a hundred dollars. Much of the expenses coming from The Grand Bakery. From what my sisters have told me of the prices of The Grand Bakery's desserts just one big effin' cookie can cost close to twenty dollars. Just one cookie from there is typically one meal all on it's own too. I still strongly feel as though last nights' comped dinner was a Gift from God Himself in Heaven too.  |

If I may suggest, Shadowlander, if you are not against pepperoni get at least a half pound of Hormel Pepperoni from your favorite or preferred deli at the #2 setting, or #1 setting if you love your deli meats tissue paper thin. Put as much that pepperoni on your Totinos pizza just before you put it into the oven. I have found many years ago to have a nice and crispy Totinos pizza put it in for a minimum of twenty minutes instead of the usual ten minutes. Do so with the aforementioned Hormel Pepperoni slices and you will not regret it! Well, except for the potential heartburn later. Save a little dijon, sour cream & mayo to mix with 1.5 pounds of cooked, flaked salmon. Keep salmon separate. Serve vegetables & pasta with dollop of salmon on top. Or several dollops on the side. Served this way NO g-r-i-t-c-h-i-n-g about not getting enough salmon.  Men LOVE to know they are getting enough PROTEIN. Men can be ASSURED THEY ARE NOT BEING COVERTLY TURNED IN VEGANS/vegatarians/pescatarians. OR whatever lunatic name for eating like a CONTRIVED L-E-F-T-E-S-T LIBERAL.
