I’m thinking of homemade pesto pizza with a freshly picked garden salad.

So far just some Haagen Daz strawberry ice cream. But I had a cup of walnuts, a cup of raw carrots, a cup of raw celery and an apple for lunch tho.....so I'm pretty full.

Fratellis pesto pizza, Philadelphia, 1990. A taste I will never forget as long as I live.

The line for the pizza would go around the block.

It was a bright green broccoli pesto, made with basil, broccoli, pine nuts, olive oil and garlic, in a food processor.

They would put a tonne of it onto the home made Italian pizza dough, lots of mozz on top and brick oven baked to perfection.

Then they suddenly closed one day.

It was the end of a beautiful dream.

I have searched high and low the world over and have yet to find a pizza so delicious as Fratelli's pizza.

Also, I miss 1990 like the dickens!

We will have salad

I diced up a potato to fry with some eggs.

Biscuits with country ham and grape jelly.

I have no idea what to eat tonight. All the local restaurants have reopened, the grocery stores are stocked, and I could eat anything I want, but nothing seems appealing enough to act upon.
