I'll be attending the memorial for Nicholas II and His Family on July 17th 2017.

I'll be the 1st from our family to return to Russia, my Great Great Grandmother Anna was exiled in 1832 (possibly in 1837 as records are in bad shape) when Tsar Nicholas I found out she was with his Son's child.

Our family only discovered we were cousins to Nicholas II's family in 2015 when a cousin sent in his DNA for analysis. Another cousin sent her DNA sample in last year with the same results.I'll be sending mine in next.

This is going to shake Russia up a bit as Anna was not a commoner but of Royal descent also.

It was a great job that I really liked. I was in charge of the environmental projects that the company did. The Pay and benefits were very good also. I basically was caught by a catch 22 I need my acquired leave funds (Paid Vacation savings) to cover my trip to Russia in a few weeks and the only way they said I could tap into it up front was to resign, so I did.

Well I guess I have more time to pack and prepare for the trip now.
