The name popes choose Its all about them expressing the way they want to convey and represent self.

Jesus said "I have come in my fathers name and you recieve me not, if another comes in his own name him you will recieve"

Popes are very very fussy about what name they are to use to represent themselves with.

The emphasis Jesus was making was about people rejecting his father for another who is very concerned with his own name and own self.
You cnnot get more concerned with ones own self and pnes own name than the popes do.
The papacy is the a tichirst who above all things are very concerned about their names they choose to repesent themselves with.
This concern for ones own name is unique to the papacy
No other office on earth shares such a concern with ones own specially chosen name.
