They have actually given drivers legal protection, in at least one State, if they run into/over/through protesters blocking the road. Now that's not to say that drivers can accelerate & go out of their way to hit these fuckin abscesses on the taint of the world but if they are blocking the road, refuse to move & someone, be it afraid for their & their passengers safety or just running errands/on the way to the gym/work & hit these criminals, they have protection from prosecution.
