Quoting: joepits84 then have giant magnet on one side pull it through a turbine. then have a magnet on the other side pull it back. not entirely free. but simple enough. Thank you But now the CIA is going to kill us because we just figured out free energy |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75065529 Australia 06/16/2017 03:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ive seen super magnets in industry non powered by the way which if you wore a metal glove if you were the strongest person on earth you could not remove your hand from it. Literally they have to throw the magnet out once it gets metal filings built up on it because there is no removing them. So these forces, which also repel each other, could indeed produce work and motion. And instead of calling it free energy, which makes people think you are stupid. You could simply call it converting magnetic energy into electrical energy. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74838503 United Kingdom 06/16/2017 03:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | first a metallic liquid wouldnt work - you would have to turn magnets on and off using electricity and would cost more than a turbine would make - metallic liquids are heavy. With a permanent magnet yes you can move water but only if its moving. The cheapest way to move water is through gravity. We already have hydroelectric dams which let water flow through turbines - adding more complexity to this just decrease efficiency. I sure we can fin a near unity generator in some years but your idea is flawed. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75065529 Why could we not convert magnetic energy into electrical energy? We do it is called inductance and there are losses associated with it. Let alone the fact it lags the phase so some of the power has to be reactive which means we cant use it. |
