We are now heading in the right direction budget wise. Don't know how long we can hold on, we are being overrun by Northern commie bastards moving here. The cost of illegal immigration is the major factor in the insolvency of states. Unfunded mandates and unfunded pension obligations were big enough to be severe problems, but it is the illegal immigration that takes it way over the top. Anonymous Coward User ID: 75081775 United States 06/22/2017 09:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Illinois is an awesome state! The problem isn't Illinois, it's Chicago and Mike Madigan. Politicians have harmed the state horribly and it may be on level for corruption with Washington DC. I went to see Metallica at Soldier Field in Chicago last Sunday and the fan's were awesome, but the money it cost, plus the poor show left me deflated. Almost $200 for a ticket, I had 2 which ran me almost $400. They wanted $50 to park and plenty of folks paid, but we parked at Navy Pier for $20 and walked down. T-shirts were $30 plus, drinks and food at Soldier Field was robbery. Toll roads show have cost another $20, but we went a more economic route and got in and out for under $10. The average price for 2 people ran around $1000 for the concert and everything. I live out in the Starved Rock State park area and that last few holiday weekends there, it has had to be closed down due to capacity crowds coming down from Chicago. It will be closed down July 1 due to states financial troubles. Caterpillar, once Illinois largest employer, has lost over 30,000 jobs over several years. Chicago and it's politicians have harmed the state. Illinois has some of the best people living there and as Trump bragged about Iowa people, I'd say Illinois is actually better, from having lived in both states. |

The past decades have seen those who own cities, states and even countries go into debt to other entities in order to avoid the consequences of spending far too much as well as the sponsoring of limitless theft and corruption. Once the debts get too huge to make payments on and defaults occur, power is then transferred to the holders of the debt, the "real owners" now to take total control over what have been leveraged. In this fashion, cities states and countries can then be taken over by the new owners to do with what they want. The lawyer scum will then make it "legal" to do anything the new owner, be it the IMF, the UN, China, whomever, who can then assume ownership of all assets, kick out the residents of the place and populate it with their own people, or simple just take all of the assets. All it takes is sellout lawyers and the right words on paper. Much cleaner than an invasion. You want it? Why just buy it! He who feels the respect which is due to others cannot fail to inspire in them regard for himself, while he who feels, and hence manifests, disrespect towards others, especially his inferiors, cannot fail to inspire hatred against himself. When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains, and the women come out to cut up what remains, jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your gawd like a soldier.
