It's possible.

by air Corpus Christi is less than 20 minutes from Houston.

by the time they requested clearance, made course changes.
and cleared a terminal for an unscheduled landing, they
could have been in Houston.

no reason to divert unless there was some "other" reason.

You know, I have been wondering about that. Houston was so close, it even seemed like Corpus Christy was a bit out of the way traveling from LAX.

What do you think the other reasons would be?

Could it be a possible test for the airline?

All the pictures I have seen so far have her face bleared out. And I've been following several different news stations.

Some passengers were stating she was acting crazy in the terminal.. Surprised she was even allowed on the flight.

I've perused about 30 news sites.

1. There is no unblurred picture of her face, at all, despite video from multiple people.

2. They say the FBI has not been able to identify her.

3. They say she snuck onto the flight.

4. She is wearing cool-weather clothing going from LA to Texas in late June.

At this point, I'm willing to consider that she was in a gov facility. Because nothing else makes sense.

Maybe she was in a mental facility and got loose.

She got through the TSA, the ticket counter, etc and took a seat on a flight all without ID.

The screaming matches a mental patient.
The rest doesn't.
