That was a really interesting read, you wrote it so well I felt I was living there with you!

I've lived in predominantly black areas (in England) - it's OK for a while, but then you think 'Enough'. It's always the good people who move.
I marvel at how just two families can send a whole street down the tubes. You'd think it'd take 3 or 4 tenants, wouldn't you? Nope - just one or two can make the difference between a place being tolerable or 'let's get out of here'; it's the daily weariness of fending things off that gets you down.
