For all that think we need to get rid of oil

Are you going to ignore the computer,TV,toaster,micro-wave,just to name a few.that vinyl siding on your house. Your shingles.that milk jug in your refigerator just to name a few bi-products of oil.only 25% of a barrel of oil actualy goes towards fuel.what are you willing to give up.Probably 90% of everything you have in your house is a bi-product of oil.And won't the tree-huggers love you if we go back to cardboard milk jugs and paper grocery bags.And peak oil is a bunch of BS.I worked in the oilfields for 10+ years and I don't think there are enough dinosaurs in the the world to produce half of what we've already used.I watched them drill wells and cap the everyday.We won't run out of oil before(hopefully) somebody comes up or should I say let the world in on what we already know about alternative energy.ethanol sure as hell ain't the answer.We have over 100 neclear power plant in the USA and very few of them producing energy.
