Yeah, I heard the same about a modern factories. If for some reason society collapsed, they wouldn't be able to manufacture wooden pencil, and we would lose the knowledge to recreate even toilet paper made today.

There are many formulations for concrete for different applications. Modern construction is not limited to Portland Cement.

Concrete mixes can be designed for flexibility, sheer stress, weight, vibration, erosion... many more factors.

Aggregates, binders, fibers, rebar, insulate, gasses can all change the operational characteristic of cement mixes.

Kiln rates, hardeners, anti-microbial additives, dyes, latex... options

Appears Mentally Deranged, what a NUT case.

Summary of first 3, for people who don't feel like skimming:

1. Roman marine concrete incorporates volcanic ash & rock, which reacts with seawater to form new minerals, reinforcing the structure.

2. Pyramid stones were not carved. They were poured & cast calcium-aluminate cements.
(Ca-Al has some fantastic properties, I never thought of construction with it.)

3. More of a mystery: incredibly long-lasting (prehistoric), precisely-fashioned basalt structures (a volcanic mineral).. appear to be man-made but no clues as to how?
