Apparently, his friend, age 7, told him all about how people can go to the hospital and change. We watch them when they play but you can't catch everything they say or do. It's a tough discussion. I just said the people that do it are not mentally well. And it's something you shouldn't talk about with anyone else but mom or dad. I say they have a sickness. I'm worried to pry too much about the word for word discussion, but I do a little, but it worries me because I think when he sees my concern he gets more curious. |

We are a two parent house, both have good careers but I have flexibility with my job so I can be home more, we are pro family values and even do shit like grow our own vegetables and limit screen time. Since she's a toddler, she goes to bed at 7 and most days eats dinner before her dad and I do. It was called the "Bravest Knight that Ever Lived". It looked like a storybook, and definitely for young kids. Normally we don't allow shows we haven't seen but this looked very innocent. I glanced over the description and it seemed fine. She watched it while I was in the kitchen. She came up to me when it was done and asked for something else to watch and as I walked up to the TV I saw that in tiny letters by the show description "LGBT". I was like what?? I re read the description and saw nothing that said LGBT. I watched the last two minutes and saw that the knight ended up rescuing the princess but literally declared his love for the prince and asked the prince to marry him. In a cartoon for toddlers. That looks like a storybook. That's recommended on Hulu if you watch kids cartoons. I'm not even anti gay and this is too much. How far will they push things?! Excellent! You just qualified to be a grade school teacher. |
