If anything, its only good for short periods of tine for detox purposes, but it isnt water in its natural state, so i would tend to agree with the op.

Yup, that's why no labs anywhere use animals for drug testing
Ingesting bug or rat poison shouldn't hurt you since it's not for killing humans right?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75241117

This is a fallacy of cause and effect. If you only applied this course of logic many people would be harmed by skipping the FDA human testing stage. I take it you think we can just skip over that altogether since if a cancer drug works in rats it will surely work the same way in humans right?
 Quoting: minimeister 75238512

Or we could just take the word of one Dr as law. Did Mayo run his findings through FDA testing?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75241117

Hey, you're right, much better to just speculate and believe in magic fairy dust than to actually give credit to the only guy that ever gave a shit enough to really look into it. Your method of 'just pull it out of my ass' is so much better.

You have absolutely no understanding of water chemistry beyond what you've been told. Speculation, fairys & things up the ass are 100% from your end. Sounds like you have a ton of mayo on your chin as well

I was drinking straight reverse osmosis water for a while, never felt fully hydrated. Its not meant to be consumed in large amounts, same with distilled and same with rainwater, especially all the shit in the air rainwater probably absorbs. Your body needs the minerals and salts for proper hydration.

They've been collecting it on rooftops and in troughs for millennia. And if they are eating real food and taking in real salt, they will be replenishing all the minerals they need. You need to stick a faucet on your forehead and drain out all that disinformation.

I stand corrected about the history and use even in todays world
but in todays reality our food is becoming demineralized and our air is polluted. Corruption in every facet probably makes it hard to get good water anywhere at this point.

Re: Do you know why distilled water is not healthy long term?
Because there are no ions in the water due to the minerals being removed. Your body needs those ions that are missing!

Your air has ions, too. If they are removed, the air behaves like distilled water.

Cell towers release tremendous amounts of positive ions. Those ions neutralize the health promoting negative ions from the air.

IOW, you're getting distilled air.

Cell towers are horrible for you for that reason.

Well guess what, in the coming years, the power of those cell towers are being cranked up for things like driverless cars.

The negative ions in our air penetrates your skin (85%) as well as being breathed in (15%.)

Without them, reactions that take place in your body based on those ions won't take place. Ions are the real lifeblood in your body. When your ion reactions fall short of what they should be, function is impaired.

IOW, you get inflammation and then a disease.

With the introduction of driverless vehicles, the US is in a race car heading for an unforgiving wall. There is much sickness already due to a shortage of negative ions.

By cranking up the towers, there isn't a person in the country who won't be affected negatively. Either you will become sick (or sicker) or you will be severely impacted because so many others are sick or sicker.

There will be no winners. None. Running to the woods won't save you. This is a 100% disaster for 100% of the people.
 Quoting: Booger Cancer

You're a nitwit.

Ions are charged atoms or charged molecules. Distilled water has ions. Usually in the form of O- or O+ or H+ and sometimes H3O.

Distilled water is pure 100% water. The water in your cells is 100% distilled water.

The people telling you distilled water is bad for you are the ones wanting you to drink shitty tap or bottled water.

Pure distilled water has a pH of 7. This is neutral. Your body needs neutral water. Bottled water (even distilled bottled water) has a pH of 5.3 to 6.5. That is too acidic and really bad for you.

Tap or city water has a pH of 8.1 to 9.4. That is too alkaline and immensely bad for your gut and intestines.

The best water to drink is pure distilled water (directly from the stainless steel distiller, or reverse osmosis water directly from the system. Both have neutral pH.

My assumption was that rainwater contained no minerals, but it seems it would contain some from the process in general whether it was from the air or from the ground, but removing everything from it (ro, distilled) isnt realistic in that way. I am pretty sure animals drink spring water.

People obtain minerals through food (plants and animals) not through water. Minerals found in water isnt bioavailble as it is in food sources.

The more minerals and other crap you have in your water, the more you force your kidneys and liver to work. This eventually leads to kidney and liver fatigue.

Not saying you should search for your dv of minerals in water, and in sure some minerals act in a negative way, but i dont think thats necessarily true that we need complete pure h2o.

Go start your own thread about that if you wish. It's not welcome here only because this topic is about the air!

BTW, it's nonsensical to call the water in our bloodstream distilled when it is smothered in other chemical compounds.

In streams water is not 7.0. It's more likely to be 7.3 which is powerful evidence that we are supposed to drink water with minerals.

Those jerks have decided not to allow Vista and XP users access their sites. One has to wonder what sort of incentives Microsoft offered them to tell some of its visitors to go jump in a lake.

The only person to have conducted a long term medical study of the effects of distilled water is Dr. Mayo (Mayo clinic named after him). He concluded that there are a multitude of health benefits of using only distilled water and even went as far as to consider it more effective than most drugs.

Also the mildly acidic distilled water goes right into your stomach ffs which is much for acidic. Good luck offsetting your stomach ph

Re: Do you know why distilled water is not healthy long term?
No biggie OP
I destillize my water and after that I activate it with stones and magnets.
Best water ever.
Way beyond better then what is coming out of the tap.

O and never forget to send positive thoughts into the water to create harmonic and strong structured crystals to support the body.
Also put some positive thoughts into your body because it is at least 70% water.
Look up Emoto to see why it is important to love yourself, now you know, proof is in the pudding, Emoto shows all.

Re: Do you know why distilled water is not healthy long term?
I've drank nothing but distilled for a decade for peace of mind and I'm fine, i don't have super powers but I also don't have any mineral deficiencies.

Is your hair brittle?
Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.

But aren't you claiming in this thread that Ions give you cancer? So which is it, ions are good for us or bad? You can't claim in one thread that ion radiation being put off by cell phone towers is bad and then claim in another thread that ion radiation missing in distilled water is also bad.

You basically discredit yourself with these two threads. I suggest you take some time off from posting and actually read up on what you claim from real peer reviewed studies and quit nit picking what you want to sound good on this site.

Sure distilled water may not be good for you, but I would rather drink water now then water 200 years ago. If it wasn't people that killed you it was the water or malnutrition.
