A large-scale rescue operation is underway after 17 people became trapped during a flash flood in the Tanque Verde Falls area Sunday evening east of Tucson.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says the group called for help just after 5:30 p.m. As of 9:00 p.m. .

Not good , I haven't been there in many years but I know there are some pretty flood prone areas around Tucson.
