Need good vibes...Dad in bad motorcycle accident last night

In Oregon. We are in St. Louis, so he's very far from home. Talked to him this morning, so praise God, he is alive!

But he has broken vertebrae, pelvis, hip, hand and ribs. Significant road rash.

He and a friend were touring the National Parks in Western US, something he has always dreamed of doing, and got into some gravel and it sounds like it highsided him.

He's going to be in there for some time, at least that's what I'm thinking since he won't be able to move for a while.

Any prayers, good vibes...anything you got that's positive, please send it his way.

We need the GLP effect in full force, and I know you guys can make that happen. :)

sending prayers up for your Dad. I can't imagine the stress, plus being so far from home.

Even prayers for people we don't know reach up to God. Those especially can have an impact.

it's Grumpier's thread and many are getting help with his assistance, and of the angels. You just need to ask on behalf of your Dad for healing.
I'm hoping for a complete healing for him OP!

UPDATE:Just spoke with Dad's nurse. He is now sleeping. She said they have his pain under control a little better now. I don't think he's slept since being there. Hopefully the pain relief will stay that way. :) He will be in the hospital for probably severals days, if not more. He does not have any internal injuries, and labs are ok. No punctures in the ribs/lungs. Long road ahead, but he will make it there.

They went in for exploratory surgery night before last, as they thought they saw a spot on his MRI, but when they got in there, they found everything to be fine. :)

They did decide to keep him sedated and intubated for now, though. The damage is significant, and pain is excruciating, so they knocked him out.

Mom and Uncle are on a flight to there now. Should be in this evening, barring a shutdown of the highway for the fires.

Please keep the prayers coming. Poor guy needs lifted up.
