Why, for centuries, has the Church relentlessly frightened Christians by threatening them with eternal damnation? This is a false belief
Why, for centuries, has the Church relentlessly frightened Christians by threatening them with eternal damnation? This is a false belief. The reality is that there is no eternal damnation for humans. All that can happen – and even this is very rare – is that when a person revels in evil and intentionally continues to work against God’s plans and against the light, they become so loaded down and so dark that finally their human soul separates from their divine soul. The divine soul, in the form of a spark, leaves them and returns to the ocean of original light, and then, deprived of this spark, the human soul disintegrates and disappears. These cases, I repeat, occur very rarely. Whatever sins and transgressions are committed, the human soul is always given the possibility of recognizing its faults and purifying itself, thanks to the divine soul, which is linked to it and seeks to take it towards the light.

That is a very dangerous thing to say. Demons are real, the devil is very real. So is his domain. Although it is true that God's grace is always available to us, and redemption is never out of the question, a life filled with sin and no remorse and without Jesus as your savior, will deliver you into the devil's hands at the end. At that point he does as he pleases with you.

"Those who do not put themselves in service of the light necessarily serve the darkness. This is an implacable law. Willingly or not, consciously or not, if you fail to choose heaven, you are headed for hell. If you do not make the decision to climb, you will come tumbling down. You may think: ‘The light? Heaven? What on earth is that? I want to be free!’ Well, you will not be able to prevent the forces of darkness from coming to dwell in you. Those who seek this kind of freedom will discover slavery. They fail to realize that they are placing themselves under the influence of dark entities which are only interested in exploiting them. They get mixed up in things, imagining it is they themselves who desire and decide, when in fact they are carrying out someone else’s business. Most people are like children when it comes to understanding freedom: they believe they are free when they engage in all sorts of unreasonable and dangerous things, which will eventually limit or even destroy them. They open the cages of wild beasts which will tear them apart and devour them. Only the wise know that to be free they must first limit themselves, by placing themselves in service of the divine world."

When a master deems it necessary, he is able to drive away the harmful entities which have taken possession of a human being. He agrees to fight these entities, and he triumphs. But when evil spirits are chased from the body of a possessed being, they will try to find another dwelling. Even the Gospels tell us about such a case: when Jesus drove the demons from the body of the Gadarene man, it is said that they begged Jesus not to order them into the abyss. So Jesus made them enter into a herd of swine nearby, and the swine threw themselves into the sea and drowned. Spirits can be chased away like this, but they will take up residence somewhere else, in other beings. This is why exorcism must be studied with a great deal of care.

So do you believe in hell or not then OP? Because all of that is correct in the quote. We are incapable of any meaningful growth without the Lord. Only through Him are all things possible.

Re: Why, for centuries, has the Church relentlessly frightened Christians by threatening them with eternal damnation? This is a false belief
Man yours is nonbiblical nonsense.

Heaven/earth = body's top half/body's bottom half.

Top half: those who wake up become one head they know God as much as he can be known at that stage. They then go out of the head (see below for why this happens) and play the role of retributive arms: they harm their bottom half. Finally they taste their own medicine when they end up playing the role of the bottom servile half.

Bottom half: some of them will keep dying & dying (sleep) in the bottom half, others will ascend into the head & will supplant those who are there (why the went out of the head, in the description above).

The head is Jesus & you are one little scoundrel numbered among the snake oil salesmen of old.

you won't it was removed be the council of nicea.

seperate thought we know resurrection is canon in the bible. it has happened, it will happen. but only for one being? in all of space and time resurrection will happen once maybe twice?

it all has to deal with power. we know the christian church stole pretty much all its ideas from other older religions. almost every major event or story in christianity is tracable back to another older story where literally only the names have been changed.

with reincarnation the church has no power. no threat no leverage. the threat of no adultry only goes so far. dont cheat or umm you will die get born again to try again. vs be a good person die and get born again to try again?

Yes only one person ever had that power. Yes no man here will ever have that power. It is reserved for God alone to hold sway over life and death. The Bible is the inspired Holy word of God. No matter how it found it's way to my hands my faith allows me to read it as truth. Can you provide a link to the original "unedited" bible verse that discounts hell? I'd like to check your source. Thanks!

God doesn't care about your silly egos. You aren't right now, and you never will be. If you create your own lake of fire, sit in it if you wish. We all sin sometimes. Have mercy upon your own soul.

Those who kill without that mercy WILL be imprisoned. But there is not, and never will be, ETERNAL damnation. That's moronic to the highest degree.

Re: Why, for centuries, has the Church relentlessly frightened Christians by threatening them with eternal damnation? This is a false belief
there is no unedited bible. it was made by men for men. chosen to give the church more power. it may be the words of god but god did not put them to paper man did. man chose what books went into the bible in what order. is it easier to believe that true faith beyond words by a multitude of men or mens corruption and yearning for power had more sway in scribing the bible?

you can say god told/guided/helped man write the words. stood over his shoulder whispered into his ear. I find it easier to believe a king wanting more power said write this or I will torture your family and kill you. the church wanting more power said well we know (there may be a scroll of muhammad we will never know it could damage the church)

Re: Why, for centuries, has the Church relentlessly frightened Christians by threatening them with eternal damnation? This is a false belief
No one disappears.

Its different the way it occurs. As you Love and strive to Understand others and see things from different views, your consciousness/essence/soul grows bigger, unto infinity. And you're actually an infinite part of Infinity, an infinite fractal springing from infinite fractals connected to the Tao, OCEAN of Love/Goodness/Higher Mind Consciousness Infinity we call God.

When you harm others, withdraw empathy and understanding, grow selfish and inward like a dwarf star or black hole, you half your consciousness/essence/soul until infinity.

You still have the Light in you, Higher Self can still contact, God is still with you, but is very small and at the point of people associating with their body/instincts, say a pedo satanic elite who rape and torture and murder for their wills/wims, and imaginary health benefits and for power, feeding their form, they are becoming less soul/consciousness, and will turn out like Darth Vader, more machine than man.

Though this has to be clear. Higher Self and Source/God and Family, are of a very pure loving frequency, and when you're not the same frequency, its like a cell phone, you can't dial their number, they Love everyone, but they are horrified and Denounce and Renounce all things that harm others. So when Love intervenes and assists very fallen people who have really harmed others, its an intervention and it often takes higher ups who middle management levels. Its infinite levels and grades with infinite lessons and a steep learning curve and everything is delegated and usually the ones working with people are within a certain level higher.

When the earth or corporal by our understanding of corporal, though spirit has its own body and this is more illusion this dense earth is really astral too, but when we leave this, its like unto like. So reduced consciousness goes to levels like it.

This is not disintegration, these type operate under pyramids and hierarchies and top dog, ideas. So the head of the pyramid group feeds off the energies of all others, and their creativity, to make their body/BEAST, stronger and bigger.

So they can be very much bigger than we are, the portion of our Ocean of Self, that interacts in this density body, because they're the top dog beast of the lower multiverse.

If we're close to the gates of hell, and the basement or first floor level, and this multiverse continues in a duality structure for lets say, 6, 7 or 8 dimensions, just guessing.

Then we're down on this one, where in infinity there is truly no such thing as "down", perceptionally down here, while these Darth Vader, tiny tots wearing the messy diapers of harming others, seem so very Huge to us.

But its an illusion. Out of body, if you have love in you, they're teenage deliquents and you're this big coach who can put them in a headlock and bounce them as I did when achieving lucid dreaming when sick.

And another thing, there is a point when soul/consciousness/life bottoms out, its sick and bored and depleted and desperate to go back home, ALL GO BACK HOME. Some just take a long time. And alot of interventions to help.

Reminds me of Robin William's movie Hook: he is facing Captain Hook and says, when I was a boy you seemed so much bigger.

That is the real goal here on earth, growing up.
