OP, I was raised catholic. They are blinded by culture and tradition.

I was raised a catholic as well, though it never really took. That said, I can't say their blinders are any different than those bible christians who endlessly attack them. It seems that all those folks have done is trade on tradition for another.

But you said always. So if I can find a single statue of Mary not associated with a cave or under a cover (most of your pictures were just that) then I've disproven you. I could do that, but then you'd still hold on to your made up ideas about Catholicism.

That is hardly blasphemous. You are a coredeemer if you help bring another the Gospel. It is all about cooperation. Mary helped more than anyone else can or will by being the Mother of God.

Much of Protestantism is rooted in Calvinism which, like Islam, holds so hard to the power of God that they can't allow for cooperation from human creature.
