Iboga Treatment

Seeing these iboga treatment centers popping up all around Vancouver the last few years, mostly by young, white owners who may or may have not gone to Africa to do the traditional ceremonies.

Some charge huge fees (a few grand) with 5 star resort style lodging, while others are more reasonable. I haven't seen one yet with an accessible fee usually more than $1k, as addicts or those who need treatment the most could not afford it anyway.

Of course there are rip off artists profiting from others health issue, but I wonder if these people are experienced enough to be giving treatment? Some of them have training, but being a shaman and working with entheogens like iboga is intense work, and not for everyone.
