Besides, one register that doesn't sell alcohol shouldn"t be a big deal if the store owner is comfortable with that. It should come down to the store owner and what they want to do with it.

I am crazy about my Aldi's. Gorgeous new one in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Sells wine anytime. Beautiful layout, amazing prices. A few months before Thanksgiving, I buy duck there. The rest of the time, I find plenty of bargains
