Karate Kid Mandela Effect

I stand corrected. I did see one promo poster on google where he was wearing a red bandana. Never was red in the movie, though, that's for sure.

I thought it was red also....

But then I viewed it from like 60 different angles instantly. And asked is there a reason I remember it this way? What is it?
Instantly I found a few things that would make me think I remembered it Red.
The 1st and most major role is the rising sun flag. It's red . Daniel sons bandana looks like the rising son . But is not .. we seen the rising sun so much it tricks us into making us "think" we "know" what we remember .
The 2nd thing that is almost as big as the 1st. The symbol for the movie. Is Daniels shadow , in front of a rising or setting sun kicking... so there subconsiouly were already thinking "rising sun" .
3rd. A few versions of karate kid actually have the real sun right where the black circle is on the front of the case..

I do believe in this effect... But but I've never been able to come up with an answer for any of them as fast as I could this one...

Oh and at the time most martial arts movies had something to do with China or japan.... so most blind Americans wouldinstantly associate the rising sun with martial arts back then.

That was Miyagis logo from Okinawa. He put that on the shirt. His bandana was always blue. This is a fail I’m sorry.

Before I read the replies, I had a recollection of some sort of red sun (like the Japanese flag).

Worth noting in the video below, the Karate Kid re-enaction shows a red sun bandana - not that it proves anything necessarily.

I didn't mind the Ford and Volkswagen logo's changing, but Don't fuck with Karate Kid.
He wore a white bandana with a red logo on it. It was RED. The new black logo doesn't look like it fits in.
