Christians and everyone else, do you accept Paul's gospel? It is of Christ | |

Paul is rather bold and some of his words that people consider scripture can be considered questionable. Or men after Paul shaped his words to fit their own. |

When I was a younger man, I thought he was far too critical of women. Now, after a life having seen the nature of women, I am inclined to re-read Paul's words. But I already remember what he said. And I, too, have come to, at best, distrust women. |

He was good for us to have. Paul is the only author you can name out of the entire NT. Everything else is a forgery, or an anonymous text which has later been attributed to someone famous who couldn't have written it. Paul is the exception, it is a pity that he never met Jesus in the flesh... If he had, we would have an authentic eye witness, and a very credible one at that. Paul knew James, so that is still pretty good. BTW I am not a Christian, but i enjoy learning about Religion in general. |

Reprobate minds hate Paul. Reprobate minds twist Paul's writings to come up with a false gospel that produces lawlessness and wickedness in the Christian World. The definition of grace OP has is a false one. It's what all those who don't want to practice righteousness cling to. It's the very reason why lawlessness abounds in so many churches today. The good things we speak, write and do, through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, is what is called grace. In referring to the Lord Jesus Christ, Luke wrote: "And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth." [Luke 4:22] Grace radiates out from the very Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. And anyone who receives it from Him, speaks and behaves just like Jesus Christ did! It's obvious that many Christians who talk about being under grace don't have a clue of what it really is! Regarding grace the Apostle Paul wrote: "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." [1 Cor.15:10] Grace flowing into our hearts makes us do the will of God with great pleasure. We enjoy serving our Lord Jesus Christ and do NOT look for a thousand and one reasons not to do His will. "Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God..." [Rom.15:15] "so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." [Rom.5:21] Grace only reigns in our lives if we're diligently practicing righteousness, through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Anonymous User ID: 72784493 United States 08/26/2017 12:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Jesus referred to himself as "the son of man"! That's language straight out of The Book of Enoch which was banned from the Bible. In fact the Bible cannot be understood without the book of Enoch. The Enochian System of Magick harkens back to a time when man was not a prisoner to the elements! Think about it...could Jesus have performed what are still to this day considered miracles, if he did not command the elements and the elemental spirits??? Why do we have a fascination with Magic and Harry Potter? Think about it! The Cathars and early Gnostic Christians believed this world was created by the devil. Can anyone deny this is most probably true? It is at least certainly controlled by the devil! The evidence is all around us. The evidence is within us! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75344920 United States 08/26/2017 11:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Paul is unnecessary. His gospels are his own musings and beliefs. The others are valuable for their actual contact and teaching from Jesus. Paul never had that and his opinions are his own and his own only. If you believe in divine intervention why didnt god give paul the opportunity to be there at the right time and place. Paul is generally a ME ME ME series of books and as such is no significant value in anything he goes out on a tangent on. Revelation is similarly irrelevant. |
Be that way User ID: 72563303 United States 08/26/2017 11:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | St. Paul was a proto - Valentinian Gnostic - that is the filter one needs to use in understanding his letters. An excellent point. He was the apostle of the heretics to the early church fathers and the chief heretic of them all, Marcion, was the first one to collect the epistles into a set. |
