So they claim that without evil, love can't exist.
This is an insult to love! It can't stand alone.
And it's a compliment to evil- it's somehow needed.
Let's think about opposites. Does everything have an opposite?
There's hot, there's cold. Light and dark. There's no opposite to gravity, tho.
What's the opposite of a car? Or of a banana?
In fact, we know that cold is the lack of heat. It does exist, you feel the cold, it can even kill you!, but is this really an opposite?
Moreso, evil can't create anything. So love doesn't need evil in order to exist.
