I have some ground up turkey meat and was wondering about a good recipe for burgers.
I was thinking a 1/2 cup of onions an egg and seasoning mixed with ground turkey and friend for 7-8 mins per side on a skillet.
How about your recipes? Will the onion cook faster and spoil in my recipe? |
What!

Although, it may taste better.....With a chiante and some fava beans..... If at first you don't succeed, perhaps failure is more your style. |

It's pretty much just sage, thyme, and marjoram. You could use the Montreal steak seasoning stuff, too. That's good. No, the onions won't mess anything up; they'll just add more flavor. |

I have some Franks Red Hot sauce and a half onion. Some garlic power and some Worschester sauce.....
How much of thyme, and marjoram would you use? Along with the hot sauce and worchester sauce? |
Inside Out

Ditch the worcestershire sauce. That's great for moo cows. Use a bit of the garlic powder (I'd use about 1 tsp. per pound of turkey) and the onions (chopped up, of course). Cook it up and then spread the Red Hot sauce on it after it's cooked. |

Quoting: OP 124389Glad to hear it. Mixing the turkey with onion, egg and breadcrumbs makes a really good burger. Just add salt and pepper. No friends!! If at first you don't succeed, perhaps failure is more your style. |

Throw a little salt on them. They are so much more tastier then ground beef. My hubby and I love them and make turkey burgers every weekend. Oh, ground turkey is excellent in meatloaf. The best meatloaf I've ever had. |
