Christians are living comfortably in their sins
Far too many people say "Yeah, I'm a Christian" but smoke weed, get drunk, have sex outside of marriage & live as they please. Beloved, a Christian is a FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. Not simply a 'believer' because the Bible says that even demons believe (James 2:19). I don't know what 'jesus' you're following, but it is not the Jesus of the Bible. If you're truly following Jesus, He will never lead you to sin; you can be sure of that. The enemy has truly blinded you if you think that you're okay with God while still living comfortably in your sins. Don't be deceived. Read the Bible for yourself & you will see. Do not harden your hearts, the Bible may hurt you with the truth but it will never comfort you with a lie. After-all, it is the truth that sets one free.

Here are a few verses that I hope & pray will convict you, lead you to personally seek God & repentance.

Titus 1:16 "They profess that they know God; but in works they DENY HIM, being ABOMINABLE, and DISOBEDIENT, and unto every good work reprobate." -- Is this you? Professing to know God.. professing to be a Christian but denying Him with your lifestyle by disobeying Him & living in sin?

1 John 2:4 "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." -- yes, the Word of God says you're a liar. Seems harsh, doesn't it? But it's the truth being said in love.

Matthew 16:24 "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." -- Are you denying yourself? Along with all your selfish desires? No longer your will, but God's will be done? Are you taking up your cross, dying to self & dying to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, & the pride of life? Are you counting the cost to follow Christ? Leaving your sinful lifestyle & the world behind? Is He worth it to you? You can't serve two masters beloved, choose today whom you will serve. It is all or nothing.

Be blessed~

I wonder how much easier it was to live "Christian" in the time of Jesus?

No Madison Avenue selling sex on billboards and sides of busses, Women dressed modestly, harsh punishments deterring theft and adultery, and personal toil necessary from dawn until dusk to feed, clothe and shelter yourself and your family.

If you wanted to read, you probably read scripture. If you wanted to sing, you probably sang hymns.

A lot of Christians are held in bondage from sins that originate from their youth.I didn't/couldn't receive the Holy Spirit till I confessed my sexual sins.Sex before marriage.I've been blessed by his grace. When my sins were lifted,I could feel the weight on my shoulders. That was satan trying to keep me in bondage. When the weight was lifted, everything felt different.Like I was new again.Even heard his voice saying he'll be back.

No doubt.

But yet ALL Believers are still "works in progress".

We won't have sin fully removed until our physical bodies die.

Repentenance is key.

Old Testament - God constantly has prophets tell His people to Repent to be forgiven.
New Testament Gospels - What did John the Baptist and Jesus first teach? Repent

The VERY first teaching by Jesus was in...

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

It was also a key teaching by John the Baptist

Matthew 2:2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

How would you go about telling a Meth addict to repent?

Just curious.

We're all on meth nowadays, figuratively. Hyper-sexualization indoctrination starts at birth and is super saturated and ubiquitous.

The entire reason for atheism is because people are all sexed up and in a frenzy.

I think a lot of people hate it, and regret it, but repent? It's compulsory.

How do you fix that?

Are we damned simply for being born in the 20th/21st century?

Not stupid at all, just an honest observation. Where is this liberal empathy you speak of while they are attempting to genocide white conservative culture? Many liberals openly advocate genocide of the white race. Typical liberal hypocrites. Let's not even begin to discuss all of the sexual degeneracy liberals practice and advocate. What kind of morals spawned all of that? The truth is liberals are pure evil. And I'm an agnostic. My point of view isn't coming from a religious background. As I see it most liberals are sick in the head. Truly vile people.

No, being born sends you to hell. Original Sin.

There is nothing you personally can do, yourself to avoid this and there is no sin you can commit that is worse than what is already joined unto you at your birth.

We are, in fact, all damned.

However, if you embrace Jesus Christ as your savior, that is your ticket out.

Jesus was crucified so that you can enjoy your beer.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO FULLY OBEY THE GOSPEL?
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9King James Version (KJV)

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

this is how...
Acts 2:37-38King James Version (KJV)

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Yep. I covered that. I said "With Christ, we are forgiven."

If he wanted to have 150 beers in one sitting, he's forgiven.

He probably shouldn't though.

Forgiven isn't the same thing as no repercussions.

Many of our penalties and sentences are served right here in the flesh.

The saintliest Christian alive today may behaving a rough go of things because they used to smoke, for example, or because they used to be giant turds to their families, etc.

Karma is still a thing.

Beer use/abuse is medical Karma and therefore a "sin" but the punishment is poor health or loss of family, etc.

But saved? Yes.
