I was a Christian for 30 years but had questions on contradictions in the Bible. When I ask about it, people would get very defensive. So I decided to do my own research. The way I looked at it is God gave us free will for a reason and if he wanted blind faith he was have made us that way. What better way to love God than by choosing Him over all H
My research lead to the conclusion that the Bible can't be the word of God but more likely a means to control the masses. We know books of the Bible were removed. How do we know what was put in wasn't altered? The resurrection of Jesus was. He can't die Friday and rise on Sunday because that's only a day and half. Three days and nights is what was prophesied. The Sabbath was changed as well. How does God allow his creation to dictate His Sabbath? Then looking at Jesus and seeing that it was copied from other religions that predate Christianity. I prayed a lot for answers because couldn't understand a God that would allow His children to follow false teachings then cast them to The Lake Of Fire for it. I'm not trying to insult your religion or God because It was scary for me to accept what the evidence was telling me. All I'm saying is do yourself justice and choose God because your research leads you to Him.
