i don't WANT to go to heaven when i die. i want to work my way up to that in the same way i "save the best for last" with other things. shouldn't it be like making love? being plunged into total bliss right away makes everything else anticlimactic.
Quoting: a passing cloud You can never work your way to heaven. You are already a sinner and need Jesus Christ. If you trust in Him and what HE did for you to pay for your sins and believe that He died and rose again you are saved. That is the ONLY way anyone will ever be saved. You must obey the Gospel. You cannot work your way to heaven. It is impossible because you are already a sinner. Weird religion. It really doesn’t work that way as you will find out for yourself someday.
