Quoting: ^Mutariel^ This is during the Tribulation period after the rapture of the Church. Obviously we don't know that. Nobody knows when the return of Christ will be. Only the Father. *TRINITY* Salvation is a process. I am a Protestant and beg for Mercy because I am a terrible terrible sinner. If you don't feel guilt from your sin, there is a problem Yes we do know that. We don't have to know the exact time that Christ returns to know the things that happen during the Tribulation period. The Bible specifically tells us what happens during that time. Salvation is something that occurs when we place our Faith in Christ alone, believing in our heart that He died and rose again, shedding His blood for our sins. Salvation isn't about BEGGING God for forgiveness, it's about placing your Faith in Him, giving your life to Him and allowing Him to make the changes. God convicts His children of their sins. Trust me He convicts me all of the time. My heart is submitted to His will, but I am not perfect. I do repent of my sins when I sin, but my salvation isn't about BEGGING God for forgiveness and hoping He doesn't send me to hell. His Sacrifice paid for my sins and Faith in Him and His Sacrifice is what is required.
