Obviously, you have not considered that the voting age is set at 18, drinking at 21 solely because of mental maturity and comprehension of issues involved in life decisions. What makes you believe a 15-year-old boy has the intelligence to make these life decisions when he has not even passed through puberty.

This is a suicide waiting to happen let the parent decide until the boy is mature enough to understand what he is doing.

Well, he was emancipated and filed all the necessary paperwork... so she really had no right to sue.

Had he still been in her custody, it would be a different story.
