Lost a great friend today.

I've been through it many times (I'm older) and it never gets easier....only harder. Sorry for your loss.

You guys are great. Just discussing this with you all make me feel better. I mean hell most of us are complete strangers to each other but we share the same bonds that tie us to the positive things in our lives. Thanks glp.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Very sweet dog. I lost my dog a few days ago to cancer, too. Know that the life your dog lived with you as her "parent" was the best life she could've ever wished for. You gave her a wonderful life filled with love and security. Time heals. And who knows...you might see her again some day. My heartfelt condolences to you.

I'm so sorry Corky! My dogs are my best friends and go just about everywhere I go! I have lost many over the years, and they have all been so special! Hope you see Luna in heaven!

On the upside we will be with our dogs again.
