Re: Favorite BEER
Third Coast Ale from Bells Brewery. Unfiltered goodness, with large chunks of barley floating around, almost like eating (hence the references to liquid/hydraulic sandwiches). Older ones used to have obscure maps of Michigan on the label, so cool. Over 10% ABV, but you'd never notice until after a few. Hard to find, expensive at over $2/bottle.
Old Milwaukee longneck out of a cooler full of ice is also excellent, and much easier to find.

Re: Favorite BEER
There's too many beer breweries everywhere now. It used to be a refined art, made by few. Now everybody and their cousin's uncle's baby momma's boyfriend's ex-wife's grandmother's 4th cousin's baby makes beer.

Not a place to say if any beer is better or not or even have a favorite.

Just drink it already.

Blue moon here.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75220909

Yep,I like trying all that micro brewery stuff but when it comes down to sitting by the fire, chilling, playing guitars its Blue Moon. So smooth and tasty.

hesright
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18252837

Blue Moon is a mass produced drink, from Millercoors.

No microbrewery
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76642532

Maybe not, but the recipe is still killer. Watch aholes on youtube try to reproduced flavor. Very hard. Very complex. Its good brew.

One of the best at 13%, you only need one, I'm a light weight and 3 is my limit.

[link to paixdieubeer.be (secure)]

Just about every beer in the US is trash once you've had Belgian beer. I mean no disrespect to my fellow Patriots, it's just been my experience.

Leffe Brun is my second favorite, followed by Chimay Blue.

I have no idea how I'm going to survive without regular access to Abbey beers when I have to come back home.
