All trying to one-up each other like a bunch of children. Kinda pathetic. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68420650 It's hilarious when "men" proclaim the best beer is ________(insert domestic cheerleader beer/beer flavored seltzer water). Anything under 9.5ABV is hardly worth the time and gut space. Want a real beer? Try one of these: Victory Golden Monkey - great all day beer ABV 9.5% Dogfish Head 120 minute - only happens twice a year -ABV 14-17% Ommegang 3 Philosophers - ABV 9.7% Yes, I'm a girl, yes I'm a beer snob and yes I laugh out loud at men who order beer that tastes like piss but has less ABV than urine. Nothing says smart and sexy like a man who orders a complex beer and understands it as well. Liberate your palate from low class bitch beers! Lets not make it TOO complicated, getting plastered is supposed to be fun. If you want a strong alcohol content, drink some good sour mash. |

Technically Mad Dog is a wine, but I don't think so. It's a Malt Alcohol Beverage so therefore it "could" be considered a beer...maybe? And it's cheap (for those on a budget). Sure, it might leave a nasty hangover; but that's a small price to pay for something that costs so little. And since I'm already slightly off topic, I'm also going to add to my favorites list anything made by Boone's Farm. For beer specifically, here are a few local favorites you may not be familiar with: 1. Mickey's Big Mouth (Oh so good!) 2. Iron City (From Pittsburgh, made from the crystal clear water of the Allegheny River.) 3. Milwaukee's Best (A college favorite.) 4. Stroh's (Fire brewed from Detroit.) 5. Pabst's Blue Ribbon (Not a bad beer actually.) 6. Colt 45 (Billy Dee Williams aka., Lando Calrissian, drinks the Colt!) 7. Miller High Life (It's the Champagne of Beer!) He made about one run a month and took his time. The great thing about it was you could get hammered out of your mind and not get sick or get any hint of hangover. |
