WTF Why can't we buy it here???????
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46566702

Because beer has a specific definition legally in the USA.

Anything with that high an alcohol content cant be sold as beer.

I remember when I lived in northern new york we used to drive over to Canada and get some stuff called Brodeur.

I dont know if they still make it but it was about 10 percent too, very watery tasting but powerful..

Snakebites are really good (and banned in many Brit Pubs because they act as a stimulant). Half Guiness, half hard cider. a precipitate forms and it feels speedy...hence people overdrink.

A local brewery in my town has been supporting biden and harris all year and they are absolutely sickening. Now they have a new biden brew.. The owner is nothing but a filthy treasonous communist. The have hung a biden/harris banner that is half the size of their building.. Many in our town have been trying to voice our opinions on their Facebook page but they remove our comments shortly after. They just can't take the criticism. Take a look at their ridiculous webpage promoting their new biden beer. Makes me sick!!!

I prefer weed as it's natural and works far better for physical pain relief and is the medically acknowledged cure for glaucoma.

However countless people with a predilection for attacking what they do not understand and suffering from ignorance resulting from a successful government psyop criminalizing marijuana beginning in Oregon in 1937 have made this safe natural cure unavailable to so very very many.

That point made, if I find myself without weed [only happened once since the 1970's] I will have a beer, and this is my choice...

I don't know how alcohol laws vary state-by-state, but I do know some states such as New York and especially Pennsylvania have strict rules. Then again, some states such as Nevada seem to have almost no rules at all.

My favorite beer for many years was Molson XXX sold in an "Oil Can" like a Foster's can. Once I moved to Florida, I quickly discovered we CAN'T even get Molson in Florida. I don't know why.

For those of us old enough to remember the classic movie, Smokey and the Bandit we remember that movie because the basic plot was to get a Semi-Truck loaded with Coors across the Mississippi River, because Coors was not available East of the River. Coors (now) owns Molson, and Coors is a major brewery. Why can't I get get Molson in Florida? I'm pissed.

If anyone has the balls to drive a Semi-Truck loaded with Molson XXX from Canada to Florida; I will buy the whole load. But, I'd also strongly suggest you have a 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am to lead the way, to keep the cops from getting the beer. I will only pay cash upon delivery!

Re: Favorite BEER
IPA, high alcohol content (7%+), icy cold in frosted mug
 Quoting: CAstro hik

That's NOT how to drink that specific beer, the correct temp for an IPA at 7% is about 50F.

So what you need to do is warm the bottle/can up a bit before pouring it. You can easily do this by either placing the bottle/can under one of your arms or put it in your crotch.

If you choose under-arm you gotta give it at least 7 min to bring it to the correct temp for this type of beverage at that specific ABV.

However, if you go for the crotch-warm it's only about 4 min.

Yuengling WAS a great beer, back when it was made in Pennsylvania and was just a small local brewery.

Then Anheuser-Busch bought the brand, and it IS NOT the same beer as it was back then.

AND...A-H has the balls to call Yuengling the Nation's Oldest Brewery. What a crock of shit. It WAS the Nation's Oldest Brewery.

Yuengling was sold in these big ass bottles, it was unique.

Another Pennsylvania option is Rolling Rock. But the Rock is not a good beer. But, the classic painted bottles are cool!
