Good thing about the plot is that literally they can do a direct sequel to T3 while pointing to the sucky sequels as alternate timelines that may or may not have happened....as with a time machine, one could go to any point and change everything. That was the cool concept of Terminator Genisys, and Arnold was actually entertaining in that film and it had a few moments. The problem was that they over convoluted the story in hopes of teasing it out into a new trilogy, which is usually a bad sign....a movie has to stand on its own....and also in casting Jai frickin Courtney, aka "Mr Bland" as Kyle Reese. He was no Michael Biehn. SO many great actors that could have done that and they chose that no talent douchewad.


The new one should bring back Edward Furlong as well. He is washed up, but the kid IS John Connor, and if he whipped himself into shape and took it seriously, the cohesiveness of seeing those three back together would be huge.

Arnold can still play an aged cyborg. With Cameron producing, I feel like they could get it right.
