In 1924 they were transmitting pictures across the ocean to Great Britain. One thing is voice or typing but this was picture, this sound modulation can be heard on a crystal detector receiving set, and causes a peculiar sound easily recognized by one familiar with picture sending, this was 25 not 1924 which was sure enough fast forward for the time they talked to others about it.
