The exhumed Carboniferous topography of the Wichita mountains is the destination for the off world A.I.

The simulation began in early January 2021, when an A.I. vessel from space happened to pass over Oklahoma. The modern Wichita mountains were the preserved remnant of the ancient landscape of the world that built it, in the remote past.

The vessel stopped. It took a position over what had been an important location in the Paleozoic; what we call today Elk Mountain. Maybe there was a spaceport on that site a quarter of a billion years ago. Or a temple; maybe a place incomprehensible to us.

It's there today, over Elk Mountain, in the Wichita's.

The ancient A.I. is scrolling through our continuum, determined to contact it's makers.

We are an afterthought. Man's entire history never happened because we didn't exist before 12 noon, 6 January 2021.

We reside in a nightmare; you already knew that.
