They only said they "have the right" to shoot down and only if they felt threatened. Just like America or any other country would, to defend themselves. No different to any of their other statements really. Have to give them credit for having balls though regardless. (and no I am not on their side. lol)

As long as they are in International Airspace they can't shoot them down, if they did, that would be an act of war since they were not violating their airspace.

The Key difference is, they would shoot down the bombers and planes in International Airspace....

It would be totally different if they shot them down in their borders....

I'm surprised they didn't announce that their sea borders would extend out 100+ miles. That would be interesting if done. That would conflict between International Law and Nork law....

America, UK, Norway, Sweden etc get probed by Russian nuclear bombers, sometimes at super sonic speed and low altitude, they never take it as a declaration of war or get all hot headed and actually fire shots.. They only intercept and escort them away from the airspace..

Balls in America's court now. Does America take another stroll by North Korea in international airspace or do they take heed of North Korea's warning even though America has every right under international law to fly by North Korea in international airspace.

You are saying that if the NORKS made a bunch of threats (like we have done) and were positioning themselves economically for war (like we have done with the sanctions) and then sent BOMBERS over our airspace, we wouldn't shoot them down!!!???

If I were North Korea I would feel I had to shoot them down just in case they were carrying bombs.

A Russian bomber was spotted over Cornwall UK a few days ago.

i saw a eurofighter hauling ass! just a few days ago, it was probably intercepting this very bomber.
