if you would do this with every disaster america strikes why not put it half mast all day every day??

shootings
hurricanes
planecrashes
abortions
people who die everyday in traffic
people who die everyday in shootings tru-out the country
etc etc

i don,t see the use of putting the flag halfmast unless there is a real disaster with hundreds or thousands of casualties.
its not that i play down what happened in vegas but you have to set a line somewhere.

whats next?? replace the white/red stripes into rainbow colors??
if you stand for the flag you need to have principles that come with the flag too.
