Secret backdoor in UBER app allows it to record you even when app is CLOSED

I've contacted them and asked them who routes the deliveries.

One nice Muslim woman operator told me there is CALL CENTER where the deliveries are routed in every city. She gives me the 1-800 number....I call that number later that night and get into 1 hour long epic saga conversation with this Muslim guy.

Late into this conversation I ask him who routes the deliveries...he tells me it's an AUTOMATED SYSTEM. There are no people who route the deliveries Total opposite of what the previous operator told me.

This is the kinda shady shit these fuckers are pulling. You get one answer from one operator and another answer from the next. I have recordings on my laptop while speaking to them on speaker phone showing these fuckers lying. I've told them if they keep screwing with my TIPS that I will be talking a lawyer. THESE STILL FUCK WITH MY TIPS. After I've openly explained to them that I'm catching their asses. This is how

WELL, a lot of good it does to get a $20 bonus when the company simply keeps $20 in tips from you to pay for that bonus.

Also, they can make you wait in between deliveries to make it impossible for you to hit 9 deliveries in 4.5 hours. I laugh my ass off when I see these "Flash Incentives."

Now, I haven't read the whole thread, but does this work even when the app has never been used? I just upgraded to the Galaxy S8, and it has an Uber app but I have never used it. Maybe I need to see if I can uninstall it.

The function could be to install software updates OTA which runs all the time on the sim card. That's highly coveted telco feature. So just set a sim card pin lock.

I used uber for first time the other day. I handed the guy a four dollar tip. Went to give review, it asked if I wanted to add tip I selected no. Next day a 5 dollar tip was added. Is there a clause I didn't know about that automatically adds tips?

The Muslim Mafia sends people to these Apple Exec's houses and tells them they're going to kill them, or spray acid on their faces if they don't comply.

They've been doing this to restaurant owners in cities, as well. Telling them to stop using other courier services and give UBER exclusive rights.

If I order food through UberEats, do they track the food until it reaches my bowels? Do they keep tracking after it's flushed? I need to know the truth.

it's funny how people will always say 'oh i'll tip you on the app' and then never do. i trust uber. they are good people , if they screwed you it's probably because you deserve it.

You clearly haven't worked for them. And, if you have, you haven't audited their system.

I've had customers trying to tip me right in front of me and were never given the option to tip. Uber says it's a "malfunction because the customer hasn't updated the APP." When I ask them what they're doing to educate the customer on the need to update the app, they say "Nothing now, but we'll note your concern and forward it over to another department. They'll get back to you."

Then, you never hear from them.

The old "if you're not doing anything wrong" tripe again.

He was Puerto Rican. I did some research. Kind of hard to get to the bottom of it but a think a 20% tip is automatically added. Trying to get a straight answer has been very difficult.

Interesting. Sounds like somebody (company) is trying to avoid some type of financial liability or something. Dodging state service taxes? IDK.
