Is that his Asian girlfriend next to him? I assumed it was Paddock and the video of the date on the newspaper was spliced in later. The TV show is a bit disconcerting, but the same announcer may well have been on at an earlier date.

I think it's him but the paper that sets the date was added later. Also the TV reporter on the screen is probably on every day and so that doesn't pin down the date this video was made.
