Updated California Fire Map -- As current as I can find from the fire line -- I gotta front row seat.

This fire is is creeping up over my mountain. (We live on the west side of Sonoma Mountain.) The smoke is MEH good and bad at times. We're prepped for evac but I hope it doesn't come to that. Monitoring several scanners and personal connections at the moment so, I'm kinda busy but, figured I'd share this map.

Years ago I pm'd a question to you about Hillary - there was a thread we were on, or maybe you posted, with thoughts that I had never come across before - and you were very thoughtful in your reply, explaining it all to me. I had never seen opinions like that before seeing GLP. I was astounded.

Years ago after 911 and as a former investigative reporter I decided to learn things about Jhadists. So I visited one of their sites. It was a scary thing to do and what I read of their plans was worse.

Long story short. The plan they laid out was this. Start fires all over the USA.

Been planning with Neighbors today. We got a hold of some fire hoses and tested our nozzles on the hydrants. More equipment is being procured tomorrow. We'll be set to be the initial attackers before any fire fighters get to us. But, HOPEFULLY these wind patterns continue in the direction they are and we won't have to actually fight the thing here.


I also picked up a new scanner (woo-hoo) so now, if it transmits, I can hear it! (I couldn't listen to the APCO 25 systems before today but now I can)


Wind is from the NNW and blowing the fire and smoke away from us at the moment. It's time for a Whiskey (or two) and a shower.

And it wasn't *Blue* - it was a silver shield. I like the color and light in this one.

Turn on every damned sprinkler you own, put hoses and fanning shower type attachments and put them on your roof to spray 24/7.

Fires can jump over houses.

Yes of course we were buddies and still should be as nothing has changed. I'm saying I deleted my account a few times - so it all disappears including friends and karma and all that jazz - but then I miss GLP and start a new account. I guess most people are able to just walk away and leave their account open. But I think many can relate. It's an emotional thing.

No it was from a meteor shower that no one is reporting.

hey I wonder if that was the remnants of whatever they actually tested their 'planetary defense system' on? we were all watching tc4, some said it was distraction. maybe they blew up the real threat the day or two before tc4? fallout started the fires? I looked at that map and I am pretty surrounded too, though none of the fires are very close.

Panning out...Alaska don't look to good.
