This Ian way more common than you may think. Rape victims of all ages who got pregnant and kept the child have been forced to allow that child visitation with the father/rapist. Courts have said many times that regardless how the pregnancy occurred, the rapist is still the child's biological parent and he has rights to the child.
There was a case a few years ago where a woman was forced to give her rapist visitation with their child and she was also gagged by the court so that she was not allowed to ever tell the child that he was conceived when his father raped her.

County denies joint custody of victim's child was given to rapist

SANDUSKY, MI -- The Sanilac County Prosecutor's office claims joint custody of a child born through rape was never given to the offender.

Instead, wrote Sanilac County Prosecutor James V. Young in a press release, parenting time and visitation rights were in contention.

"The order further awarded the mother sole physical custody of the minor child," Young stated. "The order is clear that, if the mother does not want the father to have visitation, she does not have to provide it."

If the 21-year-old woman and her attacker, 27-year-old Christopher Mirasolo, are not able to agree on parenting time, then the issue must be worked out through objections, which the mother's attorney, Rebecca Kiessling, filed Friday, Oct. 6.

Judge suspends his order giving joint custody of child to rapist

SANDUSKY, MI -- The judge who ordered a rapist to have joint custody over the child born from the act has suspended that ruling until objections to it are heard next week.

The order from Sanilac County Probate Judge Gregory S. Ross came Tuesday, Oct. 10, about four days after the mother's attorney, Rebecca Kiessling, filed objections to the joint custody ruling.

The stay on the ruling was issued in part because of the allegations made within the objections filed by Kiessling, Ross stated in the order.

It's been over turned. The judge came to his senses and nullified the previous order.

Not rapist just has to pay child support but gets no custody or visitation.
