Before Trump, practically everyone on GLP knew that any system based on fiat currency was doomed. Trump can't change that fact, but the cult of Trump has lost sight of the big picture.

He's cutting off the low income types from receiving assistance - assistance split between the insurance companies who have to pay a percentage of the subsidies, along with 'tax payer' assistance. While Trump the Deep state goofy puppet tries to spin it as eliminating the bailout of the insurance companies, it's just the opposite. The insurance companies, forced to pay for the subsidies and not wanting to have to pay for all those 'pre-exising conditions' - have demanded the subsidy elimination and to be able to charge no-ceiling limits on premiums for pre-existing conditions. Raising everyone else's premiums - then using the 'low income freeloader' argument plays well to the racist base of Trump - not realizing that they've been had. This is an effort to get rid of the 'surplus low skill labor' in a way that doesn't require bullets. Just pump them full of toxic food, vaccinate, destroy their health, limit their access to the healthcare system as a whole - and then they 'quietly' die off.

I'm afraid Mr. Trump and his deep state friends are going to learn an important lesson about life that they, and their ancestors, seem incapable of. It is not the 'useless eaters' who are on the chopping block - but they. And as this winds along, the beauty of this Truth will be on full display.

If Trump follows through with this plan, almost every American GLPer will be affected in a negative way. Some will surely die because of it.

I thought they were fiscal conservatives and/or liberterians. Trump is doing the right thing according to those ideologies. Shouldn't his supporters be cheering this on based on that?

Congress never authorized these subsidies. They are not part of the text of the ACA law. All $$$ appropriations must be initiated in the House. Thus, the subsidies were illegal to begin with, just like DACA was. Obama had no constitutional authority to do either.

I understand there were a lot of "hidden taxes" Obama initiated via executive order and am wondering where they are hidden? Are they in the ACA or were they introduced somewhere else? Just curious if anyone knows?
