When I first read this I thought it was an Onion article, but Scott may actually be a genius here.

Think about it for a second. He's basically saying that he expects the COUNTER-protestors, i.e. BLM, Antifa, etc. to be violent. He's backed them into a corner so to speak. I don't know who this "White Nationalist" guy is, and frankly I don't really care. Any rational person realizes that someone spewing hate into a microphone is NOT a life-threatening emergency, it's not an emergency at all.

The timing of this couldn't be better, even some of my liberal "friends" are saying the same thing, that states of emergency should only be for things like...you guessed it...hurricanes. LOL. Scott may have flipped the script on these libtard Antifa and BLM fuckers and they don't even understand it. Anyone who's even been on any college campus anywhere has seen the fundamentalist "christians", anti-abortion "activists" etc. etc. spew their hate and yet no emergency is declared for them.

Scott is making a statement here in a very tactful way I think, by making the left almost forced to admit that even if what someone says "triggers" them or whatever, that the speaker has a RIGHT given by their CREATOR to disseminate that message, and no one has a right to respond to that message with violence.

While he is free to say whatever he wants, and a lot of his points make sense, his values and principles don't seem to align with the values and principles of the Republican party, i.e. Abraham Lincoln.

To me he appears to be someone who attended the University of Chicago and about the same time as the fall of prep/ beginning of hipster began his career. He was fired from his editing job at American Conservative magazine after six months because frankly, he's not an American Conservative.

This guy and Eisenhower cannot be used in the same sentence. Spencer claims to have made up the term alt-right, which of course he would have to.
