Lifting weights is pointless without steroids | |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5815703 I'll take a lean, cut MMA fighter body over a roid freak any day. Absolutely!! Pretty much all MMA fighters are on the juice. That lean body type requires some sort of gear. Not all gear works the same. Not all is meant to give the bloated muscle look. Look at swimmer Michael Phelps, he was caught juicing. Look at cyclist Lance Armstrong and his steroids scandal. They have/had lean bodies, not necessarily the typical "roided" look. |

Not really, the type of exercise they do is great for maintaining a lean physique so long as their diets are in check. Lots of normies are even lean AF that don't even work out. Some is genetics as well. A lot of MMA fighters look like total couch potatoes as well. Just because somebody looks great doesn't mean they're on juice. |

User ID: 72974552 United States 10/27/2017 01:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Played college sports. 4 year full ride. The first thing they did was shots of Ethanate and Propianate, types of Testosterone. We used oral Dianabol in the off season. We had trainers and a Doctor that took blood monthly. The blood kept our liver, and cholesterol levels in check. I doubled my bench in 3 months. Added 70% to my squat, and overall, I felt invincible. To avoid Raisin Nuts, a program of off season injections came also. This restored the bodies natural production of Testosterone. The fallacy that steroids cause impotence, is a lie. Unless you continue uninterrupted on a testosterone injection schedule with no restoration cycle. By the way a natural lifter,( someone after 2 or 3 cycles of steroids with none for at least a year), you get ripped like nobodies business. You must also push yourself to maintain your bench, squat etc. These will naturally get lighter but you should go to higher repetitions and less weight. Watching your diet is extremely important if you are over 25 or so. Starting on these substances should never be attempted until college age or better. Kids that do these when their 14 or so are idiotic and are asking for liver damage or a rage induced felony rant. Just as everything has it's down side, education and strict adherence to the correct principles are very important. Beach muscles are easy to get. To develop a base of muscle that stays with you for a long time requires years of uninterrupted training and diet. Michael S |

Even those "couch potato" looking MMA fighters have been caught juicing and with steriods in their system. You must be stupid to believe these kind of athletes are completely clean. Some of the gear is so sophisticated these days it can easily pass tests, but the commissions don't care as much as you think they do, especially with cash cow fighters. Even basketball players juice. Sumo fighters too. The best lean body types and best conditioned are boxers, not MMA fighters. But I'm sure many of them juice too, especially at pro level. |

Another idiot who has no idea what he is talking about, lol First of all taking steroids o my make you to big, and disgusting looking, most women don't muscles to big 2nd they will eventually kill you. Now lifting without steroids gets you big, not to big, but lean big, which is what you want No one wants to be big as those fucks in the magazine lol Also, it depends on genetics, if your a little man, then no you probably won't look that good lifting weights, All wrong, 1. Steroids not only make you bigger but also more ripped. 2. You will die anyway 3. Lifting without steroids doesn't make 80-90% neither big nor lean 4. You won't get nearly as big as "those guys in the magazine". They take enourmous doses and have exceptional genetics on top of that. 5. It's actually more important for short men, women like tall men anyway. Wrong you do get big and lean without steroids, I and many others are proof Creatine, protein is all you need, maybe some BCAA if you want Don't want to big like those freaks in the magazine looks nasty Short men lifting and getting big looks stupid, short people shouldn't try and get big, doesn't look right on them Lol wtf do you know. I'm a short man whos muscular and it looks way better than being scrawny. Looks like being so tall robbed u of some brainpower |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75737116 Here's the short and skinny (only a pun if you want it to be). Get a job that makes you real money where you can spend $200 bucks a week on real, quality, and nutritious good. Protein, carbs, and fats. Eat about 3500-4000 calories a day of clean eating. While eating out, select quality restaurants. Lift and sustain healthy outdoor recreational activities. Lay off booze, cigs, and drugs. You only get out for which you put in. Yes, eating well and big and hitting it hard for a short time like 14 days will make a difference. You're a beta puss, I can tell. Grow a set and focus on you instead of being jealous and envious of those around you. Time is too short for all that! Listen to this guy. If you really want to bulk, you must be eating right, and eating enough. Problem solved, unless you are a eunuch have have no testicles. ETA: Remember you lift to break down muscle -- that is why you are sore. Then you allow your muscles to heal a couple days before lifting again -- that healing is what makes your muscles bigger and stronger. If you lift daily, you are not allowing the muscles to heal. My suggestion -- lift 2 or 3 times a week. Add a couple yoga classes on the off days to stretch and maintain flexability (bonus, you get to look at women in yoga pants), the flexiability will help keep you from injury while lifting. Listen to the guys on here who do body build, they can give you good tips beyond the general wisdom I have shared. Yup that's right only need 2-3 days and only about a 20 minute workout. Heavier is better IMHO. However as I've gotten older I've found I need to up the aerobics to stay trim. I do that about 4 days a week around 30-45 minutes a session, usually running or biking. With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible |
