Creating an independent Crypto News site
I've been a long time lurker and loyal GLP'r and am finally taking the plunge with a partner to create an independent news channel for cryptocurrency and blockchain related information. Have a site, but I'm not going to advertise when it's in its infancy. Any of my fellow crypto tards have anything specific you'd like to see all on one place? We've been getting tired of having to hunt for bits and pieces of info, especially from the 'MSM'

Cheers

Re: Creating an independent Crypto News site
the few things I think would help a great deal is tutorials on reading graphs and trends.

also, when I see a new coin that came out for a penny, that goes to a dollar in a year.

another coin that is a penny after a year doesnt get to 10 cents even though it has more trading volume and the tech is the same...why is that? what determines the growth potential on coins?

Like Stellar is so cheap and fast yet others around it have more value and less tech value.

So I would like to see some sort of guide to say well if a coin has this volume we could see coin price reaching a dollar and how it does that and why.

Completely agree. We're planning tutorial videos, articles and easy linking to where one would go to get going after reading.

I'd like to know more about mining, mining companies, what coins are profitable to mine using an old computer etc.

personally I like "Crypto Daily" for basic info and some laughs. Trevon James is cool but he pushes that scam called Bitconnect too damn much! BTCKyle is my boy too, he taught me alot. My Point is there are plenty of good shows on YouTube. However, there is still tons of room in this space. I was thinking about opening a channel. I got skills and mad jokes...lol best of luck on your endeavor my boy

Re: Creating an independent Crypto News site
Great! I'd like to be able to find out what the hell drives some of these explosive increases and decreases in some of the Cryptos before most of the rest of the crowd, to try and cash in on it. Like a week or two ago NEO exploded to about $46. All the way up I was looking for the reason and it wasn't until it had topped before I found the reason.

In the cryptosphere, information is currency and extremely valuable. If it's good enough you could probably charge a small fee for it.

Great idea. Let us know when it's ready.

EXACTLY, I find myself scouring obscure sites to glean the bare minimum of information to find out news. We're looking to create a central hub where people won't have to spend hours looking for information, unfortuneately I missed the neo boat myself
