What do You Think About Singularity?
Is it science or is it fantasy? A little of both? Is the supernatural only that which we haven't met yet? Are you willing to go down the rabbit hole or would you rather wait for someone else to explain it to you?

If you are waiting for an "authority" to make it permissible to entertain the idea that time is malleable, that regeneration is acheivable and immortality is a birthright, you may never "get there."

Re: What do You Think About Singularity?
You don't need to be a scientist to understand it. It is simplicity itself. It is your natural state, without strife. If you engage in a focus of attention with love and passion, like art, dance, music, love... you are in singularity.

The "world" would like you to put your attention on it. This is to pull you into the distortion of its reality, rather than in your own reality. Being present in your reality is singularity.

Re: What do You Think About Singularity?
It depends on how you define it.

If you mean that AI can effectively take over a large section of a human survival segment, that has already happened.

If you mean that a program decides it likes the color blue over the color green and wants to name itself Chad, who gives a shit?

My x-wife would define it as a no-go when my singularity is the one I suggested we follow.
Truth is a singularity and we seem to have found an unlimited number of way to get around it or at least avoid it for the most part.

Re: What do You Think About Singularity?
I mean the point of consciousness where you are no longer separate from your purpose. Science can only ennumerate and approximate it's point in time and space. But it's up to us to be it, to experience it.

There's another thread about Q that is analyzing the coded messages being put out by Q, but they don't want to entertain the idea that Q, which they will allow may be AI, is ultimtely indicating that we are reaching a point of singularity.

In fact, it's my contention that Q or many Q's, including or maybe headlining, Donald J. Trump have returned back through time to this timeline. In doing so, they've warped the time/space continuum and have allowed for more of what we intitially will experience as "strange."

Isn't it curious that DJT, Daddy and Prescott Bush and Tesla are all connected. Isn't it curious that Nazi's were developing zero gravity machines? Isn't it curious that DJT always knows what's going to happen and hasn't really made a misstep and the breathtaking speed with which he's getting things done?

Changing of the guards happening rapidly.\\

Re: What do You Think About Singularity?
Verrry interesting! I read through most of it, but will delve more I'm sure.

In this case, as we reach super AI... aren't we entraining our brains to become that which we create? By having to collect, analyze and identify all that we see and touch and feel and create, we are moving our own consciousness into a higher level of attention and awareness.

In the past, as hunter gatherers or primitives (a premise I don't really buy, btw,) there were always Avatars. I think if you took one of these from the distant past, they would not die, they would be the same, same as they were before. Because they've become the Isness, not the spectator, within themselves.

It's a very interesting read. I will save it.

I think the extinction is going to disrupt "singularity"? I don't think its a fancy word for being autistic on purpose, so others can have and run things either.
But I am all for the unicorn harvest.
Life is hard enough without tons of people so mentally weak to simple human condition, that they don't even take drugs to escape anymore, they have "imagined" thier way to a better place.
Mars/singularity/ubi is only for people who need it to cope. Its just a futuristic sounding version of "someday!", tekky "jesus".
Its a little late now, but at least the power of imagining ok hasn't crapped out yet.
Gawd they will be miserable to stand when that happens.

Several things are seemingly falling in place in a series of quick strokes.

- Saudi Arabia has allowed a robot to gain citizenship. Which means what? AI is gaining acceptance and will continue to do so.

- Visit Singularitynet.io ( [link to singularitynet.io (secure)] )
The method and means to allow AI to interact and create a
currency and methodology of commerce exist now.

- Ray Kuzweil set the date somewhere around 2045 as the date
that computers will become self-aware, equal to their
creators (us) resulting in unfathomable changes to human
civilization.

I don't know about you folks, but this is getting a bit too futuristic a bit too quick...

I am not so worried about AI taking over. I do trust in a "higher power." But part of that includes bending what we currently believe is fixed and "law," to something else.

To my mind (if I own my own personal mind, that is,) we are the untapped technology. Not through machines, but biologically. We have been restrained by fungus, bacteria, parasites, viruses, chemicals, heavy metals and now, even the threat of an actual chip.

Getting back to my original thought with this thread, maybe the future is coming to us?

The mandela effect, referenced above, is a good indicator. Mandela, Mandala, Mandelbrot...

Maybe it's happening because time travel has become a technological reality but we little people haven't yet gotten the memo from mangement?

The future is seeping in and it could be very, very, amazing!
