Would the Singularity happen at the same time as the Rapture??

In Catholic Lore the Rapture is a pre Ancient rome Phase shift, into another multiverse.

From a Christian perspective, doesn't humanity reaching the singularity basically mean that something like the Rapture or the Second Coming has to logically happen at the same time or immediately after since there would be nothing left of our current reality to even cling to?
