Do not let the negativity disrupt you

There is much negativity in the world today, much of it embellished, artificial and blown out of proportion by media sources. The surface motive is to sell newspapers, but another motive exists- to keep people afraid, in a low vibration and too passive to help themselves. Before we can change the world, we must change ourselves. This is the desperate attempt to keep things as they are by those who think they can control others- by keeping them blind and ignorant in the dark, unaware of their immense power and purpose.

This is a difficult process but more important than chasing material objects, temporary pleasures or distractions, which are showering the senses constantly. The stories coming to light may have horrible subjects, such as the abuse of women and children, in order to scare people into submission. What we read in a newspaper or on a screen is not the same as what is really happening in the world.



For example, if one travels to another country, one will find the people are generally helpful, kind, and not at all like the western media portrays them. By direct experience, this is one of the ways we can cut ourselves free from false beliefs and programming which hold us back. It inspires new confidence to seek answers within, rather than look for them in external sources.

One belief is that a savior like figure is coming to destroy all evil, so there is no point in trying to change anything. This designates responsibility on some external entity, without proof or evidence it even exists. The forces that want us to believe this without proof may be the same forces that attempt to keep us down to how things really work.

Beliefs and convictions can hold us back and prisons that we build around ourselves, unaware that we also possess the power to change them.

This belief stops people from doing, and is designed to encourage passivity, apathy and inaction, while our freedom is stripped away, piece by piece. Like the wise Masters say, 'Our salvation lies in our own efforts in this life'
