probably still only .000000000000000000000000000000001% accurate.
 Quoting: Strike

It is actually quite accurate, and brings some early understand into how the known universe is expanding and also contracting, ultimately it will lead to the understanding that the known universe never actually ends but recycles itself over and over... forever.

Unfortunately humanity will not be around long enough to achieve a full understanding of time as it relates to this and positions within the universe.

Perhaps in another cycle they will?

no human has been there
most humans believe what a screen or book tells them
most humans eat dead animals
most humans think a cows milk is for humans
most humans eat mixed and cooked food
most humans strive for money, an ideal not found in nature
most humans lie to their children
most humans support a warlike mentality
most humans end up in hospitals
most humans are addicted to a substance
most humans follow their master

As above, so below fractal universe ... reminds me of a brain.

Video started off incorrect though as our solar system is part of the smaller Sagittarius galaxy (also a pinwheel galaxy) oriented 90 degrees off the Milky Way ecliptic plane). We just happen to be within the Milky Way bands just now but we are on the big midway ferris wheel ride to the heavens!

Can you explain this some more, and are we actually gravity locked to the andromeda galaxy? Is there a supermassive black hole in its center?

I'd add don't know about Andromeda, but the scientific way we know the Milky Way is foreign is the composition of our Sun Sol, others known to be in Sagittarius, versus those those in Milky Way.

We're not from here.

Re: Our Amazing Universe: (was: This is the Most Detailed Map of the Universe to Date)
Look at the most overlooked and simplified vestige of humanity...the human eye.

Those who wish to look beyond our existence often tend to do so at their own peril.

Spend time searching the fantastic thing that we call the eye.

It's amazing.

I'm a biochemist so I tend to dote on things that aren't possible without an intelligent design.

I could go on, but feel that the human eye alone is proof that we were designed.

I catch all grades of shit and am constantly in passionate discussions with those who disagree.

I think you're a MORON to assume that your biochemical pathways evolved rather than they were designed.
 Quoting: Affable Serpent

Do you think the eyes are the windows to the soul? What else do you know and think about the human eye? How much information does it hold?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2876001

If you look into the eye with a magnifying glass and lots of light, you can see the interior of the eye. And That is ALL. You won't see a Soul, which is foolishness. I would assume that the Soul is invisible to us, although I'm fairly certain that there is a living entity inside our meatsuit.
How is a soul different than a spirit? I don't know.

Humans of Earth! I have come in peace. You need not fear me. I mean you no harm. However, it may be important to know that most of you will not survive the next 24 hours. And those of you who do survive will be enslaved and experimented on. You should in no way take any of this personally — it's just business!

Re: Our Amazing Universe: (was: This is the Most Detailed Map of the Universe to Date)
The video barely touched on the myth of the "expanding universe". It did mention, in passing, that the universe is not expanding, but that point was not central to the narration. I see that as the most important idea to come out of this. This throws the whole "big bang" theory into doubt. If you look at the circulation of galaxies, it looks more like the "electric universe" theory applies.
